HVAC Thermal Recovery Units

The QDT line of HVAC Thermal Recovery units are founded on our Air-to-Air Heat Pipe technology. Our state of the art Heat Pipe system utilizes our proprietary wicking method to ensure maximum thermal recovery in your system. By passing heated or cooled exhaust air across a portion of the heat pipe we are able to recover much of your buildings comfort costs. The process of thermal recovery is achieved by the passive evaporation and condensation of gases with a net saving in your energy usage.



Integrated Tilt Package

The addition of a QDT integrated tilt package allows you complete control over the thermal recovery process. The ability to change the tilt angle of the heat pipe allows for maximum recovery on peak demand days, summer/winter change over, and frost protection in severe climates.



Indirect Evaporative Coolers

Summer time cooling system recovery can be enhanced through the addition of an evaporative pad. By placing the evaporative pad in the exhaust air stream we are able to reduce the temperature of the exhaust passing across the Heat Pipe coil. This allows the pipe to accept more heat from the incoming ambient air reducing the supply air temperature to the building.



Industrial Thermal Recovery Units

Industrial plants exhaust large amounts of valuable heat that in many cases is contaminated with pollutants. The addition of a QDT thermal recovery package allows this heat to be recovered without compromising the integrity of the make-up air stream. Wrap-Around Heat Pipes

Wrap-Around heat pipes offer substantial savings on dehumidification systems by pre-cooling air before it enters the evaporator and transferring the heat to the cold, dehumidified air. You receive a double savings by reducing the cooling load and the reheat load.
